After several years of public comment, on July 26, 2010 the US Department of Justice (DOJ) adopted new regulations under title II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  These new regulations will become mandatory 18 months after publication in the federal register.  Our design team has participated in several work sessions hosted by the DOJ in order to prepare for the new regulations and the impact they will have on signage and wayfinding.  Check back soon for a summary of the new regulation and how they relate to signage on your campus.
