With 20,000 regularly attending members, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale defines the term “megachurch.” And with a 72-acre campus, the church requires a signage and wayfinding system every bit as big as any of Innerface’s healthcare or institutional clients.
Thanks to a wide array of events and everyday ministry opportunities, Calvary Chapel’s facilities are constantly in use. Since first-time visitors are a constant stream, Calvary needed a wayfinding system that was both easy to follow and durable enough for heavy use. Beyond this, the church needed a sign system that was both flexible and economical.
A church this big needs big solutions. And no matter how big the client, Innerface can get the job done (and get it done right). Calvary Chapel worked with Interior-Exterior Design, Sales, Customer Service and Installation to create and maintain a long roster of exterior and interior signs.
• (4) exterior entrance (monument) signs
• (4) map directories
• Interior room signs
• Interior overhead directional signs
• Interior wall-hanging building directories
Flexibility. It’s a feature built into all Innerface sign systems. Patented design means in-house produced panels and name inserts go in and out with ease. So Calvary Chapel’s graphics department can produce (and change) sign substitutions, which saves the church both time and money.
• Interior classroom signs: Signature and Stonedge Series
• Interior directional signs: Signature and Convex Series
• Client wanted to maintain their own signs
• They’ve done their own maps (big insert map)
• Church has its own graphics department.
